Roger
Bass, Founder & CEO
Roger founded Traxian after 8 years with Intuit’s QuickBooks
and Quicken groups. Most recently at Intuit, Roger drove several
major partner deals to provide Internet-based services to QuickBooks
users, resulting in over $20MM revenue. These included several services
relating to QuickBooks’ users needs in managing transactions
with their various trading partners.
Previously,
Roger was Intuit’s employee #1 in continental Europe, starting
German and French offices, and was product manager of Intuit’s
first ever online-banking enabled product. Roger’s involvement with Intuit’s financial connectivity
initiatives spanned its pre-Internet, proprietary beginnings through
the evolution of standards that now connect millions of software
users with thousands of financial institutions.
Dean
Burson, Co-Founder & Chief Architect
Dean
spent 5 years in Lotus/IBM’s Advanced Technology Group, driving
early efforts on potential XML applications, and working with the
team that co-authored the SOAP specification. Dean represented Lotus
on W3C XML schema and XSL working groups, and worked with Sun on
early Java Beans technology development.
Subsequently
at mPower, a provider of services to financial institutions for
401(k)s, Dean led design and implementation of an HTTP-based B2B
data integration facility used between mPower and its financial
institution partners. Dean also consulted with several mid-sized
companies on integration of payroll and other transactional services
and applications.
